About The Position

DHL Supply Chain is hiring a Forklift Operator to move stock within a warehouse environment. The role involves loading and unloading shipments and using equipment such as sit-down, stand-up, or clamp forklifts and electric pallet jacks. The workplace is team-oriented, fast-paced, and safety-focused. The position is scheduled for the second shift, 3:00 p.m.–11:30 p.m., Sunday through Thursday, at $21.00 per hour plus a $1.00 per hour shift differential. The role requires standing and lifting for up to nine hours per day and safely pushing, pulling, or lifting up to 75 pounds.

Requirements

At least six months of forklift operation experience.
Forklift operator certificate or satisfactory completion of a forklift-training program within the first 30 days of employment.
Ability to stand and lift for up to nine hours per day and safely push, pull, or lift up to 75 pounds.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or equivalent, preferred.
Six months of warehouse experience, preferred.

Responsibilities

Load, unload, move, stock, and stage products and materials using forklifts or other powered equipment for 80% of the specified shift.
Pull and prepare products for shipment, ensuring the exact number and types of products are loaded.
Maintain appropriate inventory records and reports.
Comply with OSHA and MSDS standards.
Verify load accuracy, including count, stability, and product condition, and report variances as necessary.
Change equipment batteries or LP tanks and monitor power sources as necessary.
Keep facility equipment and materials neat, clean, and orderly.
Assist with physical inventories.
Complete daily equipment inspections.
Perform other duties as assigned.
