About The Position

This is a full-time position for a Forklift Operator. The role involves daily inspection of forklifts and trailer safety, safe and efficient operation of forklifts to move products, adherence to safety regulations, daily loading and unloading of trailers, identifying product damage or quality deficiencies, and managing product in racking. Responsibilities also include weekly picking or checking of DSD orders, verifying the quality of received items, maintaining inventory flow, and performing other warehouse-related functions as needed.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED preferred
2-3 years forklift experience (forklift certification)
2-3 years warehouse experience
Experience with RF Scanners, forklifts, and chargers
Ability to maintain confidentiality with information on BOLs and invoices

Responsibilities

Daily inspection of forklifts and check of trailer safety
Safely and efficiently operate forklifts to move products or supplies
Adhere to all safety regulations and guidelines
Daily loading and unloading of trailers
Identify damage and/or quality deficiencies
Daily store, stage, monitor, and rotate product in racking
Weekly picking or checking of DSD orders
Check and confirm the quality of items received by completing all necessary paperwork
Responsible for maintaining inventory flow
Perform all warehouse related functions
Perform other duties as needed
