About The Position

Ingram Content Group (ICG) is hiring a Forklift Operator to start with our team in Roseburg, OR. The role is part of a customer-centric team that strives for excellence, collaboration, and innovation. The Forklift Operator will operate a forklift and use a radio frequency scanner to perform stocking activities such as pull down or put away, move stock as assigned, and stack product physically onto and off of pallets repetitively throughout the designated shift. They will also load and unload trucks.

Requirements

Ability to successfully complete forklift certification process
Reading comprehension skills up to high school level
Writing skills up to high school level
Math skills – basic arithmetic, addition, subtraction
Attention to detail
Ability to work safely and adhere to safety guidelines in a warehouse environment
Ability to perform repetitive manual tasks
Ability to work independently or in a group environment
Ability to be flexible/ multi-task based on workflow demands
Ability to meet and maintain production standards
Ability to maintain reasonably reliable attendance
Ability to read, write, speak, hear, see, think, communicate, concentrate, learn, and work
Certification as a forklift operator or ability to be certified
1 year work experience in at least one previous job
6 months work experience which included walking, standing, lifting/carrying, pushing/pulling, gripping/grasping, bending, squatting/kneeling, twisting/turning, climbing, crawling, reaching above shoulders, typing/keyboard

Responsibilities

Operate forklift and use radio frequency scanner to perform stocking activities such as pull down or put away.
Move stock as assigned.
Sign out forklift after completing daily safety checklist.
Report any unsafe conditions to the supervisor.
Stack product physically onto and off of pallets repetitively throughout the designated shift.
Load and unload trucks.
