Millwood Inc. is seeking a Forklift Operator to safely operate a forklift in support of production operations. The role involves documenting material movement into and out of the production area, stocking and unloading workstations, and ensuring dumpsters are emptied as needed. The operator will perform pre-operational checks on the forklift, adhere to safety standards and use personal protective equipment, and maintain forklift operation certifications. Responsibilities also include loading outbound trailers, documenting shipment details, placing pallets in designated inventory areas, and maintaining a smooth flow of materials from machines to the "work in process" area. The position requires ensuring quality standards are met, identifying and reporting quality issues to the supervisor, maintaining a clean tow motor, and documenting repair requests. The operator must also be able to recognize and deal with safety hazards, read a tape measure, and perform other related duties as assigned. A key aspect of the role is maintaining good housekeeping in the assigned area and supplying product to the staging area while interacting with the yard. Millwood Inc. is founded on the gospel of Jesus Christ and demonstrates industry-leading innovation, service, stewardship, and sustainability. The company serves as a single-source provider of load carrying, securement, and damage prevention solutions, management services, erosion control, and lumber products.
