About The Position

DHL Supply Chain is hiring a Forklift Operator to move stock and materials within a warehouse. The role involves loading and unloading shipments and using equipment such as stand-up, sit-down, or clamp forklifts and electric pallet jacks. The work environment is team-oriented, fast-paced, and safety-focused. Operators spend 80% of the specified shift loading, unloading, moving, stocking, and staging products and materials with forklifts or other powered equipment. The position is onsite and scheduled for the first shift, 7:00 a.m.–3:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, at $21.35 per hour.

Requirements

Six months of forklift operation experience.
A forklift operator certificate or satisfactory completion of a forklift-training program within the first 30 days of employment.
Ability to operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment safely and efficiently.
Attention to detail and commitment to safety standards.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or equivalent.
Six months of warehouse experience.

Responsibilities

Operate forklifts and other powered material-handling equipment to load, unload, move, stock, and stage products and materials.
Pull and prepare products for shipment, ensuring the exact number and types of products are loaded.
Keep records and reports to support inventory accuracy.
Comply with OSHA and MSDS standards.
Verify load accuracy, including count, stability, and product condition, and report variances as needed.
Change equipment batteries or LP tanks and monitor power sources as needed.
Maintain facility equipment and materials in a neat, clean, and orderly condition.
Assist with physical inventories.
Inspect equipment daily before use.
Support shipping, receiving, and warehouse organization.
Maintain a clean and orderly work area.
Communicate effectively with team members, leaders, and supervisors.
Perform other duties as assigned.
