About The Position

The Forklift Driver operates electric and non-powered material handling equipment, including stand-up forklifts, stock pickers, WAVE machines, and pallet jacks to support warehouse and production operations. Flexibility is required to support additional areas outside of forklift operations as needed, and responsibilities may include general warehouse or production support when business needs require. The peak schedule may vary based on business needs.

Requirements

• Stand-up forklift experience required
• Ability to operate material handling equipment safely and efficiently
• Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse or production environment
• Strong attention to safety and detail
• Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, and twisting
• High school diploma or GED preferred
• 6 months to 1 year of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Ability to obtain in-house forklift certification in accordance with OSHA requirements

Responsibilities

• Pick work orders for various warehouse and production areas using powered industrial equipment
• Perform frequent bending, twisting, and lifting motions as part of daily tasks
• Assist the receiving team with unloading inbound components and raw materials
• Assist with loading trucks for finished goods, customer shipments, and deliveries
• Transport finished goods from production areas to designated staging locations
• Support kitchen and production areas with raw material replenishment as needed
• Put away received raw materials and components into racking using RF scanners
• Water and recharge forklift batteries as required
• Perform additional job-related duties as assigned by management
• Follow all safety and security procedures and report any unsafe conditions
• Operate all equipment in accordance with established safety guidelines and procedures
