About The Position

Novo Building Products is seeking a skilled and safety-focused Forklift Operator for their warehouse in Amherst, NH. This full-time position involves loading and unloading heavy products, transporting materials, and managing inventory using RF scanners. The ideal candidate will have experience with forklifts rated up to 6,500 lbs, a strong understanding of warehouse safety, and attention to detail. This role is crucial for maintaining warehouse operations and ensuring efficient material flow.

Requirements

• Experience operating forklifts rated up to 6,500 lbs
• Ability to safely handle large, heavy, and awkward loads
• Understanding of warehouse safety practices and PPE requirements
• Strong attention to detail and teamwork skills
• Ability to read and follow work instructions
• Dependability and willingness to work overtime when needed
• At least 18 years old

Nice To Haves

• Distribution, warehouse, or manufacturing experience
• Experience transporting products weighing 2,500+ lbs
• Experience handling loads up to 18 feet long
• One or more years of forklift operating experience
• High School Diploma or GED

Responsibilities

• Loading and unloading heavy products onto flatbed trailers
• Safely operating forklifts to transport materials throughout the warehouse
• Using RF scanners to accurately move and verify inventory
• Ensuring products are placed in the correct locations and properly labeled
• Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Proactively identifying product, inventory, or safety concerns
• Supporting warehouse operations and team objectives as needed
