About The Position
Inspect and operate forklift to move materials throughout the plant on concrete, asphalt and gravel surfaces, including offloading materials from railcars. The following duties are typical for this role. Other duties may be assigned to address business needs and changing business practices.
Requirements
- Ability to drive a forklift
- Experience working outdoors around heavy machinery in a production or construction environment
- Forklift driving experience
Responsibilities
- Operate forklift (hand and foot controls) to deliver materials
- Inspect forklift and its component parts
- Complete inspection forms
- Refuel forklift
- Roll wheel sets for pickup
- Set wood spacers for stacking materials
- Cut and dispose of banding
