About The Position

We are currently hiring for 3rd shift. The purpose of this role is to provide shipping and transfer support to the Logistics Team using a forklift. This role is also intended to ensure our product is staged for Production use, audited, handled, stored, and shipped and readily tracked efficiently while meeting our high-quality standards and maintaining targeted customer service levels.

Requirements

• Highschool graduate and relevant logistics/transportation experience.
• Basic knowledge of Warehouse and Transportation Management Systems.
• Forklift certified.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety & quality in shipping
• Adhere to all Mars Inc Safety & QFS requirements.
• Service the Packaging Line.
• Wrap Pallets of Finished Product with Stretch-Wrap Material
• Operate trash compactor
• Remove recycled materials from production lines and load onto trailers.
• Stage Finished Product in Shipping department or trailer.
• Load Trailers with Finished Product.
• Unload Production Supplies (Raw material, Packaging, pallets) from Trailers.
• Escalate and report all issues to Production Lead or Production Coordinator.
• Assist in maintaining inventory accuracy and control.
• Verify all required documentation including quality, production, and sanitation records.
• Drive for 5S excellence in shipping/warehouse
• Make sure that all Forklift Pre-Checks are Done and Completed
• Perform miscellaneous tasks the Production Lead or Production Coordinator directs.
• Assist in other production areas, as requested.
