Temp-to-Hire Forklift Operator - 3rd Shift
About The Position
This is a temp-to-hire position for a Forklift Operator on the 3rd shift. The role requires a strong safety focus and involves operating a Cherry Picker and stand-up forklift. Responsibilities include warehouse inventory organization and maintenance, case pick and full pallet pick duties, and adherence to all safety guidelines. The position offers a pay rate of $18.75/hr plus a $2.50 shift differential. The shift is Monday-Friday, 3:00pm-11:00pm, with potential overtime including weekends. Upon successful completion of a 90-day probationary performance review, the employee is eligible for full-time status.
Requirements
- Valid forklift certification is required. Proof of certification (certificate, wallet card, or employer-issued documentation) must be provided during the interview process.
- Previous warehouse, distribution, or logistics experience - required
- Minimum 6 months of forklift experience and proof of certification - required
- Ability to work at heights of 20+ feet, required
- Ability to walk, stand, bend, stoop, and lift up to 50lbs throughout shift
- Ability to follow all safety guidelines, required
Responsibilities
- Safely operate a Cherry Picker (OP) and stand-up forklift
- Assist in the organization and maintenance of the warehouse inventory
- Perform case pick and full pallet pick duties as instructed
- Follow all safety guidelines, including safe lifting and handling procedure
