About The Position

Blue Rhino, a Ferrellgas company, is hiring a full-time Forklift Operator to inspect and transport propane cylinders by loading and unloading them for delivery drivers. The position includes in-house OSHA-certified training. Operators move cylinders around the yard, handle materials and products under safety guidelines, complete required paperwork, and perform equipment inspections. The role may also involve helping production shifts with staffing needs when not operating the forklift.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read, understand, and pass necessary training requirements and exams.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and work in all weather conditions.
• Genuine commitment to providing superior customer service.
• Must be a U.S. citizen or national, a lawful permanent resident, or otherwise authorized to work in the United States.
• Must not require employment visa sponsorship now or in the future.

Nice To Haves

• One or more years of work experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport propane cylinders around the yard with a forklift.
• Handle and maintain the flow of materials and products in accordance with safety guidelines.
• Complete and submit log sheets, bills of lading, packing slips, and other required paperwork.
• Document forklift inspections before shift startup for mechanical safety and OSHA compliance.
• Inspect the vehicle regularly and notify a supervisor when maintenance is needed.
• Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor.
• Assist production shifts with other staffing needs when not operating the forklift.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
