About The Position

DHL Supply Chain is hiring a Forklift Operator to move stock within a warehouse environment and load and unload shipments. Operators may use stand-up, sit-down, or clamp forklifts and electric pallet jacks. The environment is team-oriented, fast-paced, and safety-focused. The role includes an A shift scheduled Monday through Wednesday and every other Sunday, 5:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., with 4–6 weeks of initial training on first shift. The pay rate is $21.60 per hour.

Requirements

• Forklift operator certificate or satisfactory completion of a forklift-training program within the first 30 days of employment.
• Six months of forklift operation experience.
• Ability to pick up and handle up to 50 pounds.

Nice To Haves

• Warehouse Management System experience.

• Experience operating stand-up and sit-down forklifts.
• Ability to use attachments such as clamps, slips, and forks.

Responsibilities

• Load, unload, move, stock, and stage products and materials using forklifts or other powered equipment for 80% of the specified shift.
• Pull and prepare products for shipment, ensuring the exact number and types of products are loaded.
• Maintain appropriate records and reports to support inventory accuracy.
• Comply with OSHA and MSDS standards.
• Verify load accuracy, including count, stability, and product condition, and report variances as necessary.
• Change equipment batteries or LP tanks and monitor power sources as necessary.
• Keep facility equipment and materials neat, clean, and orderly.
• Assist with physical inventories.
• Complete daily equipment inspections.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
