About The Position

Join a logistics team as a Forklift Operator, helping ensure the safe and efficient movement of materials within a warehouse. The role involves operating forklifts and other material-handling equipment, managing inventory, and supporting warehouse distribution processes in a fast-paced environment. Operators are expected to maintain high safety standards while contributing to efficient warehouse operations.

Requirements

• Proven experience operating forklifts such as reach trucks, cherry pickers, clamp trucks, or Hi-Lo forklifts in a warehouse or distribution setting.
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS), barcode-scanning technology, and inventory-management procedures.
• Knowledge of warehouse safety standards, including OSHA regulations and forklift safety protocols.
• Experience operating material-handling equipment such as pallet jacks and lift trucks for heavy-lifting tasks.
• Prior experience in shipping and receiving, including order picking, loading and unloading, and manual-handling procedures.
• Strong basic math skills for inventory counts and measurements.

Nice To Haves

• Warehouse supervisor experience or familiarity with warehouse distribution processes.
• Ability to perform equipment repairs or troubleshoot minor issues.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate reach trucks, cherry pickers, clamp trucks, Hi-Lo forklifts, and pallet jacks to load, unload, and transport materials throughout the facility.
• Conduct routine equipment inspections and basic maintenance to support safe, reliable operation.
• Track inventory using warehouse management systems (WMS), barcode scanning, and manual counting.
• Assist with order picking, shipping and receiving, and material-handling tasks to fulfill customer orders.
• Follow forklift safety protocols and OSHA guidelines.
• Organize storage areas, stack pallets safely, and use proper manual-handling techniques during heavy lifting tasks.
• Coordinate distribution activities with warehouse supervisors, help optimize space utilization, and improve workflow.
