About The Position

The Forklift Operator will be responsible for staging material for loading, loading trucks and railcars, as well as keeping an accurate count of inventory available. This role provides support to the supply chain through collecting, loading, and shipping our products. The operator is responsible for operating equipment, optimizing loading for efficient logistics, and supporting other shipping functions to ensure optimal operation of the business. The position also ensures products meet quality specifications.

Ability to adhere to all safety policies and regulations including wearing safety equipment.
Ability to work in noisy environment.
Ability to lift at least 40 pounds.
Ability to work from elevated positions using required safety gear and procedures.
Ability to perform tasks such as lifting, walking, climbing, stooping, standing, pushing and/or pulling for extended periods of time.
Able to work in a variety of environmental conditions.

Nice To Haves

Driving and operating a mobile equipment such as front end loader, skid steer or forklift within an industrial or manufacturing environment.
Basic computer skills.
Experience working in lumber or wood products industry and/or manufacturing.
Experience troubleshooting equipment.
Sawmill experience preferred.
