About The Position

Canyon Creek Cabinet Company is hiring a full-time Forklift Operator to join our Warehouse team! This position requires the use of a forklift to move sheet stock in our cabinet manufacturing plant. In this role, you are responsible for loading and unloading trucks daily, pulling material for routers, West Mill saws, and the delivery of pallets with guides and drawer sides as needed.

Requirements

• Previous forklift driving experience
• Perform essential job functions while always following safety requirements
• Ability to follow instructions thoroughly and meet strict deadlines
• Must be able to lift up to 70lbs as needed
• Must be able to work independently with little supervision
• Ability to utilize radios to communicate between departments and individuals effectively and respectfully
• Must be able to multitask and prioritize tasks as needed

Nice To Haves

• Forklift certified preferred but will be re-certified by Canyon Creek per company policy
• Previous experience with cabinetry or knowledge of wood species a plus

Responsibilities

• Sliding/lifting of sheet stock from 1/4” to 3/4” thickness
• Pulling sheet stock per paperwork, and stacking in preparation for delivery to the mill department
• Pulling material and filling orders for the manufacturing plant as needed
• Loading and unloading of trucks outside and inside from the dock
• Verify inbound material and ensure accurate systemic receiving
• Perform daily cycle counts to ensure that the system reflects accurate inventory
