About The Position

The Forklift Operator is part of the Logistics Team and moves material, supplies, and finished goods to designated areas using a sit-down forklift. The operator loads product onto trailers in accordance with applicable ISO and other established program requirements. The role also includes warehouse inventory, product handling, and cleaning duties.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 1 year of previous forklift operation experience; sit-down forklift experience preferred.
• At least 1 year of previous warehouse experience loading and unloading trucks.
• Ability to perform functional math, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
• Experience with inventories, pick sheets, and shipping and/or receiving product.
• Dependable, reliable, and mature enough to handle equipment safely and sensibly.
• Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English.
• Ability to lift, work 8-hour shifts, and operate in a non-climate-controlled facility.
• Ability to work overtime as needed, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Pull, load, and move merchandise according to pick/load sheets and documents specific to each type of merchandise.
• Use equipment appropriate to each type of movement.
• Perform cycle counting, product re-packaging, and inventory consolidation duties.
• Assist with physical inventories.
• Perform daily warehouse cleaning assignments.
• Load product onto trailers according to applicable ISO and other established program requirements.
