About The Position

DP World is seeking a Forklift Operator for a Day Shift position. This role involves working in a traditional warehousing environment, picking and moving parts according to customer orders, and organizing the workspace. The operator will be responsible for scanning materials, moving them according to instructions, and ensuring the facility is kept orderly. The schedule may fluctuate based on business needs, and the ability to meet production goals and KPIs is essential. Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements

Previous experience in Warehouse, manufacturing environment.
Ability to operate a sitdown, standup, reach truck and cherry picker with a minimum of 2 years experience on all.
HS diploma or GED.
Prior forklift certification.
Ability to perform repetitive duties within the designated parameters of standard work and work accurately.
Ability to communicate and deal with a variety of people.

Responsibilities

Work in a traditional warehousing type environment while picking parts according to customer order and placing parts in work areas or storage locations.
Read customer orders, work orders, shipping orders, or documents to determine items to be moved, gathered, distributed and/or shipped.
Move items from bulk containers or racks, shelves, or in bins according to customer requirements.
Scans materials and moves them according to standard work instructions where applicable.
Organizing facility or warehouse and work area for orderliness at all times.
Able to work required scheduled deemed necessary to meet the production goals and Key Performance Indicators of the site. Schedule may fluctuate based on the needs of the business.
Other duties as assigned.
