About The Position

Admiral Beverage is seeking a Forklift Operator to join their team in Springville, Utah. This role involves operating a powered industrial truck to move, stack, and load/unload products, equipment, and materials. The operator will be responsible for controlling the lifting apparatus, transporting loads, and maintaining inventory. This position requires adherence to safety and sanitation standards, including wearing a company-provided uniform and safety devices.

Requirements

Experience operating a forklift or similar powered industrial truck.
Ability to operate levers and pedals to control truck movement and lifting apparatus.
Skill in positioning lifting devices under, over, or around materials.
Ability to transport loads to designated areas.
Capability to unload and stack materials.
Proficiency in inventorying materials and supplying workers.
Experience loading or unloading materials according to directives.
Ability to record materials loaded and unloaded.
Familiarity with lubricating trucks, recharging batteries, or replacing gas tanks.
Willingness to wear company-provided uniform and safety devices.
Adherence to safety and sanitation standards.

Responsibilities

Drives gasoline, liquefied gas, or electric powered industrial truck equipped with lifting devices such as forklift, boom, scoop, lift beam and swivel hook, fork grapple, clamps, elevating platform, or trailer hitch, to push, pull, lift, stack, tier, or move products, equipment, or materials.
Moves levers and presses pedals to drive truck and control movement of lifting apparatus.
Positions forks, lifting platform, or other lifting device under, over, or around loaded pallets, skids, boxes, products, or materials or hooks tow trucks to trailer hitch, and transports load to designated area.
Unloads and stacks material by raising and lowering lifting device.
Inventories materials on work floor/production line, and supply workers with materials as needed.
Loads or unloads materials in accordance with load sheets or other appropriate directives.
Records materials loaded and unloaded in accordance with established procedure.
Loads or unloads materials onto or off pallets, skids, or lifting device.
Lubricates truck, recharges batteries, or replaces liquefied gas tank.
Wears Company provided uniform and required sanitation and safety devices as appropriate to comply with safety and sanitation standards for beverage production operations.
Performs other duties as assigned by the immediate supervisor or other supervisor.
