Temp to Hire Forklift Operator - 2nd Shift
About The Position
This is a temp-to-hire position for a Forklift Operator on the 2nd shift. The role involves safely operating a cherry picker (order picker) in a warehouse environment. The position offers a pay rate of $18.75/hr with a $2.50/hr shift differential, and on-demand pay is available. The shift is Monday-Friday, 3:00pm-11:00pm, with potential overtime on Saturdays and Sundays. After a 90-day probationary performance review, the employee is eligible for full-time, permanent status. Requirements
- Previous warehouse, distribution, or logistics experience - required
- Minimum of 6 months previous order picker (cherry picker) experience - must be able to provide proof of forklift certification during interview process
- Ability to work at heights of 20+ feet - required
- Ability to walk, stand, bend, stoop, and lift up to 50lbs throughout shift
- Ability to follow all safety guidelines, required
Responsibilities
- Safely operate a cherry picker (order picker)
- Assist in the organization and maintenance of the warehouse inventory
- Perform case pick and full pallet pick duties as instructed
- Follow all safety guidelines, including safe lifting and handling procedures
