About The Position

As a forklift operator, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of a forklift, pallet jack, or other power equipment to unload, load, move, stack, and stage product and materials. The Operator may also be required to perform related tasks as needed. Operators should have one or more years of manufacturing experience, picking and loading goods in a fast paced environment.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED
• 1 to 2 years of manufacturing environment.
• Ability to function as a team player.
• Familiarity with material handling and radio frequency equipment is needed.

Nice To Haves

• Bilingual – English/Spanish a plus

Responsibilities

• Pull and prepare product for shipment efficiently, free of damage, and accurately
• Comply with all company and OSHA safety standards
• Able to work in a refrigerated environment
• Able to verify records and reports to guarantee that tight inventory control and security are maintained
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds
• Responsible, flexible team player
• Able to work within time constraints and quickly adapt to change
