About The Position
This is a temp-to-hire position for a Forklift Operator on the 1st shift. The role involves operating various types of forklifts and performing warehouse duties. Candidates must have previous warehouse experience and a valid forklift certification. The position requires the ability to work at heights and lift up to 50lbs. Overtime, including Saturdays, may be required. Upon successful completion of a 90-day probationary period, the position becomes a permanent hire.
Requirements
- Previous warehouse, distribution, or logistics experience
- 6 months previous forklift experience and documentation verifying forklift certification
- Ability to work at heights of 30+ feet
- Ability to walk, stand, bend, stoop, and lift 50lbs throughout shift
- Ability to follow all safety guidelines and procedures
Responsibilities
- Safely operate a cherry picker, stand-up forklift, and walkie stacker
- Perform case pick and full pallet pick duties as instructed
- Stow product
- Perform cycle counts to maintain inventory levels
- Assist in the organization and maintenance of the warehouse inventory
- Follow all safety guidelines, including safe lifting and handling procedures
