Forklift Operator - 3rd Shift - Casa Grande, AZ
About The Position
The Forklift Operator works at Abbott’s Casa Grande, Arizona plant in the Abbott Nutrition division. The role involves safely driving a forklift and operating high-speed production equipment used to manufacture nutrition products. The operator maintains packaging-material inventory, completes work-order documentation, performs quality checks, cleans equipment and the production environment, and troubleshoots equipment issues. The position is accountable for meeting FDA, OSHA, and Abbott compliance standards and procedures. The schedule is Sunday through Thursday, 10:30 p.m. to 7:30 a.m., with rotating weekends once a month. A shift differential applies to the off shift. The stated base pay range is $17.15–$34.25 per hour; pay may vary in specific locations.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States and complete the required employment eligibility verification form upon hire.
- Meet the physical and work-environment demands listed in the posting, including prolonged standing and walking, regularly handling weights over 20 pounds, and working in a clean room and noisy environment.
Nice To Haves
- Forklift experience, preferably with Yale equipment.
- Experience with sit-down electric forklifts.
- Experience working in warehouse racks.
