About The Position

The Forklift Operator works in a warehouse environment, operating warehouse equipment such as forklifts and power jacks and moving materials as required. The role requires safe, detail-oriented work that meets safety and quality standards, and the ability to follow instructions and work independently or with a team. The operator may work in varying warehouse conditions, including freezer conditions.

This is a first-shift position scheduled from 5:00 AM to 1:30 PM. Overtime may be required based on business needs, and shifts may extend to 10–12 hours when necessary.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• 6 to 12 months of warehouse experience.
• Forklift/Power Jack training and certification.
• Ability to safely operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts and power jacks.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality standards.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and work independently or as part of a team.
• Frequent bending, twisting, standing, and sitting.
• Ability to lift and move materials as required.
• Ability to work in varying warehouse environments, including freezer conditions.

Nice To Haves

• Previous forklift and/or power jack operation experience.
• 1 to 2 years of warehouse experience within the foodservice industry.
• Experience operating stand-up and reach forklifts.
• Freezer warehouse experience.
• OSHA Forklift Operator Certification.
• Experience using RF scanners and handheld inventory devices.
