About The Position

DHL Supply Chain is hiring a Forklift Operator to move stock within a warehouse environment. The role involves loading and unloading shipments of various sizes and may require using stand-up, sit-down, or clamp forklifts and electric pallet jacks. The work environment is team-oriented, fast-paced, and safety-focused. The operator uses forklifts or other powered equipment for 80% of the specified shift and performs inventory, shipment preparation, equipment inspection, and facility upkeep duties.

Requirements

• Forklift operator certificate or satisfactory completion of a forklift-training program within the first 30 days of employment.
• Six months of forklift operation experience.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
• Six months of warehouse experience (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Load, unload, move, stock, and stage products and materials using forklifts or other powered equipment for 80% of the specified shift.
• Pull and prepare products for shipment, ensuring the correct number and types of products are loaded.
• Maintain appropriate records and reports to support inventory accuracy.
• Comply with OSHA and MSDS standards.
• Verify load accuracy, including count, stability, and product condition, and report variances as necessary.
• Change equipment batteries or LP tanks and monitor power sources as necessary.
• Keep facility equipment and materials neat, clean, and orderly.
• Assist with physical inventories.
• Complete daily equipment inspections.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
