About The Position

This position is responsible for using power equipment to load and unload product. The Forklift Operator will safely move, locate, relocate, stack, and count product. Requirements

Ability to obtain and maintain a forklift license.
Ability to use handheld RF Scan Device.
Must be able to lift 50lbs.
Must be able to sit, stand and walk for extended periods.
Must be able to twist, stoop, squat and reach above shoulder level.
Ability to work in a non-climate controlled environment.
Experience and knowledge about Food Safety or willingness to receive training in Food Safety.

Responsibilities

Use of power equipment to load and unload product.
Safely move, locate, relocate, stack and count product.
Perform lift inspections (electronic/paper) prior to operation.
Report all equipment malfunctions to manager and/or maintenance immediately.
Ensure inbound and outbound shipments are error and damage free.
Ensure that product is scanned properly and matches the Item code on the product, pick lists, stocking lists, and physical product.
Complete all Inbound and Outbound paper work accurately and completely.
Report all product damage to your supervisor/manager.
Maintain inventory accuracy and report all inventory discrepancy to supervisor/manager.
Follow food/safety SOPs and AIB standards.
Maintain daily housekeeping of operations building, equipment, break rooms, restrooms, smoke areas, etc.
Promote teamwork and assist in all areas and processes in the operation as needed / required.
