About The Position

The Forklift Operator is responsible for the safe, accurate movement of products within the distribution center. This role involves transporting palletized product, operating material handling equipment, and using RF Scanners and WMS to ensure inventory accuracy and track products. The operator must ensure product integrity, follow safety procedures, and be willing to cross-train and provide backup support.

Requirements

• 1+ year of relevant experience required
• Intermediate experience with either a high reach or counterbalance required
• Ability to obtain a forklift certification within 2 days of employment.
• Ability to read and interpret distribution documents in English.
• Ability to operate MHE and use an RF scanner.
• Basic analytical, organizational and prioritization skills.
• General distribution knowledge.
• Basic computer skills.
• Strong initiative and drive for results.
• Normal field of vision corrected to 20/40 in each eye
• Hearing sufficient to safely operate MHE

Nice To Haves

• High School Diploma or GED, preferred.
• Experience with Manhattan WMS, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Transport palletized product within the distribution center (unload, put away double deep, bulk and full pallet pick, load, replenishment)
• Operate material handling equipment, including high reach, counterbalance, electric pallet jack, and dock stocker.
• Use RF Scanner and WMS to ensure inventory accuracy and track products throughout the site.
• Ensure product integrity while performing all tasks.
• Follow site safety procedures, including required PPE (safety vest, safety shoes).
• Cross train and become knowledgeable in other areas.
• Provide backup support when required.
