Forklift Operator - Temp
About The Position
The Forklift Operator unloads incoming freight, loads outgoing freight, coordinates with the receiving team to ensure accurate Warehouse Management System (WMS) entries, and stocks products in rack locations. The role picks orders, delivers completed orders to staging areas, assists with pallet wrapping and strapping, and supports freight relocation and inventory transfers. It also includes kitting integration orders, operating automated box erectors, completing administrative tasks, and maintaining an organized work environment. The role may be assigned to different warehouse locations depending on volume and business needs.
Requirements
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, take direction, and follow instructions.
- Ability to complete tasks accurately and efficiently, independently or as part of a team.
- Ability to show initiative, apply management feedback, maintain a professional attitude, and multitask and prioritize work.
- Basic ability to operate industrial power equipment.
- Maintain valid Reach and Counterbalance licenses; valid Reach Truck and Counter-Balance operator certificates are required.
- Ability to operate a computer and navigate a Windows-based platform.
- Ability to safely operate a Reach Forklift, Counterbalance forklift, and motorized pallet mover.
- Ability to frequently bend, lift, walk, and stand for extended periods.
- Ability to move or lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities
- Unload incoming freight and load outgoing freight onto trucks as needed.
- Coordinate with the receiving team to ensure products are accurately entered in the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
- Stock palletized products and supplies in rack bin locations, including upper racks.
- Pick orders and complete pick tickets generated from orders.
- Deliver completed orders to staging areas for configuration and shipping.
- Assist with wrapping and strapping pallets.
- Assist with relocating freight orders in the shipping department.
- Assist shipping associates with pulling supplies from rack bin locations.
- Assist with inventory transfers by moving palletized products.
- Kit integration orders for the EUC and IDCS departments.
- Assist with goods-in and goods-out functions and general warehouse picking and kitting as required.
- Maintain a clean and well-organized work environment.
- Complete administrative tasks efficiently.
- Operate automated box erectors.
