About The Position

Under the responsibility of the Logistics Supervisor, the Material Handler I performs warehouse functions, which may include loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and, cycle counting. This is a full-time, permanent position with a wage of $21.00 per hour plus a $2.00 per hour weekend shift premium. The shifts are Friday to Saturday from 6 am to 4:30 pm and Sunday to Monday from 5 pm to 3:30 am, located in Caledon, ON.

• H.S. diploma/GED preferred
• One (1) year or more related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience preferred
• Valid Forklift Operator's License certified
• Must have valid legal authorization to work in Canada.

Responsibilities

• Perform warehouse functions, which may include loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and, cycle counting.
• Perform duties within performance measurement guidelines of the contract.
• Responsible for the accurate picking and packing, auditing, tote induction, staging of products and loading and unloading of trucks.
• Responsible for dealing with day-to-day paperwork in a warehouse environment (i.e. picking sheets, returns, bills of lading, etc.).
• Provide technical and maintenance support for different aspects related to the automated packing system during the core shift hour of production.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
