About The Position

Temp Staff Management Group is seeking a Forklift Operator for our client in Monroe Township, NJ. Schedule: All shifts available 1st Shift: 8AM - 5PM Mid Shift: 10AM - 7PM 2nd Shift: 3PM - 12AM 3rd Shift: 10PM - 6AM Pay Rate: $18 - $19 / hour Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Forklift Operator to support warehouse operations by picking, packing, and transporting materials using powered industrial equipment (P.I.E.) such as cherry pickers, sit-down/stand-up forklifts, reach trucks, and turret trucks. This role involves handling inventory accurately, maintaining organized stock, and ensuring all inbound and outbound shipments are processed safely and efficiently. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, safety-focused, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Operate P.I.E equipment including cherry picker, sit-down/stand-up forklift, reach truck, and turret
  • Perform pre-inspections of equipment before use
  • Receive and review pick tickets to identify product details (SKU, size, color, quantity)
  • Pick merchandise from warehouse shelves and prepare orders for shipment
  • Pack, repack, and weigh orders according to instructions
  • Transport completed orders to designated shipping areas
  • Load, unload, and stage materials properly within the warehouse
  • Place incoming inventory into correct storage locations (put-away)
  • Conduct cycle counts and assist with physical inventory processes
  • Organize pallets and ensure proper product placement
  • Maintain accuracy of inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring items are free of damage
  • Operate equipment at controlled speeds to ensure safe material handling
  • Follow warehouse procedures and safety guidelines at all times
