About The Position

This role is responsible for the receipt of all finished products and supporting the materials handling process for production-related materials. The Forklift Operator will safely operate all material handling equipment, including forklifts and/or pallet movers, and maintain an orderly and organized warehouse. This position involves developing, revising, and reviewing documentation for all materials-related activities, weighing pallets and scrap, and shrink-wrapping finished products. The role also requires adherence to federal and state regulations, company policies, and performing other duties as requested. Predictable and reliable attendance is essential.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid fork-lifting certificate.
• Excellent hand-eye coordination.
• Proficiency in operating technical machinery and RF scanners.
• Good physical condition.
• Mathematical aptitude.
• Good organizational skills.
• Attention to detail.
• Good written and verbal communication.
• Ability to adjust focus, especially due to concentration on a computer screen.
• Visual acuity to follow hand signals, maintain logs and inspect and maintain machinery.
• Ability to maintain single-task focus and situational awareness.
• Ability to maintain attention for long periods of time.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time.
• Must be able to work in all types of weather, including extremely hot and extremely cold temperatures.
• The ability to wear personal protective gear correctly most of the day.

Responsibilities
