About The Position

The Forklift Operator supports warehouse and production operations by safely moving raw materials, components, finished goods, and supplies throughout the facility. This role is responsible for operating powered industrial trucks, maintaining accurate material flow, and following all safety, GMP, and warehouse procedures.

Requirements

Ability to work 12-hour shifts.
English proficiency, spoken and written.
Ability to obtain or maintain forklift certification based on site requirements.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs safely.
Ability to work in warehouse, production, and high-traffic areas.
Demonstrated consistent work history and job longevity.
Basic math skills, including counting, quantities, and understanding units of measurement.
Ability to follow safety procedures and operate equipment responsibly.
High school or equivalent (Required)
English (Required)

Previous forklift or powered industrial truck experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Operate forklifts and other powered industrial equipment safely and according to company procedures.
Move raw materials, packaging components, finished goods, and supplies to designated areas.
Load, unload, stage, and organize materials for production and warehouse needs.
Verify materials, labels, quantities, and locations before moving product.
Support production lines by delivering materials on time and removing completed pallets.
Maintain accurate inventory movement and material handling documentation.
Inspect forklift equipment and report safety or mechanical concerns.
Follow traffic rules, warehouse safety procedures, PPE requirements, and GMP standards.
Maintain clean, organized, and safe warehouse and staging areas.
Communicate with Warehouse, Production, QA, and Maintenance teams as needed.
