Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Basic knowledge of the English language

Nice To Haves

  • Between 1-3 years of experience in food or beverage production facility
  • Between 1-3 years of experience in forklift operation moving solids and fluids
  • Minimum skills with Office Suite/PC
  • OSHA Certified Forklift Operator

Responsibilities

  • Preparing and shipping outgoing shipments.
  • Organizing inventory for easy retrieval as new orders come in.
  • Reviewing outgoing shipment schedules to maintain productive operations.
  • Documenting damages to inventory.
  • Placing raw materials or products into manufacturing machines to aid the assembly process.
  • Packing finished products and organizing them for shipments.
  • Completing checks on equipment and products to ensure quality production.
  • Scheduling shipments and planning logistics to ensure there is sufficient storage space for incoming production items.
  • Using a Radio Frequency (RF) scanner to pick orders from inventory locations and keeping up with production pace to pick a standard number of items per hour.
  • Checking, verifying, and filling customer orders.
  • Selecting and loading finished goods into trailer according to purchase order (PO).
  • Inspecting products for defects and damages.
  • Shipping orders accurately.
  • Obtaining and processing product orders, which include receiving deliveries, registering them, and distributing packages and letters within the company.
  • Keeping files of goods shipped by preparing regular shipping reports.
  • Troubleshooting shipping issues and customer complaints that arise and working to solve them.
  • Positioning merchandise in a warehouse or storage facility by packing and lifting items as necessary and operating forklifts.
  • Organizing warehouse space and maintaining inventory.
  • Ensuring efficient operation of palletizing equipment, stretch wrappers, and equipment has required materials (stretch wrap material, pallets, etc.).
  • Maintaining accurate records and logs as required.
