About The Position

DHL Supply Chain is hiring a Forklift Operator to move stock within a warehouse environment. The role includes case picking, moving products with powered equipment, and loading and unloading shipments of various sizes. Equipment may include stand-up, sit-down, or clamp forklifts and electric pallet jacks. The work environment is team-oriented, fast-paced, and safety-focused.

Operators use forklifts or other powered equipment to load, unload, move, stock, and stage products and materials for 80% of the specified shift. They prepare products for shipment, verify load accuracy and product condition, maintain inventory records, follow safety standards, inspect and maintain equipment, and assist with physical inventories. The posted schedule is overnight, 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM, Monday through Friday, at $19.85 per hour.

Requirements

• Previous forklift operation experience.
• Previous experience with an RF scanner.
• Forklift operator certificate or satisfactory completion of a forklift-training program within the first 30 days of employment.

Nice To Haves

• Previous Warehouse Management System experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
• Six months of warehouse experience (preferred).
• Six months of forklift operation experience.

Responsibilities

• Load, unload, move, stock, and stage products and materials using forklifts or other powered equipment for 80% of the specified shift.
• Pull and prepare products for shipment, ensuring the exact number and types of products are loaded.
• Keep appropriate records and reports to support inventory accuracy.
• Comply with OSHA and MSDS standards.
• Verify load accuracy by checking load count, stability, and product damage, and report variances as necessary.
• Change equipment batteries or LP tanks and monitor power sources as necessary.
• Maintain facility equipment and materials in a neat, clean, and orderly fashion.
• Assist in physical inventories.
• Complete daily equipment inspections.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
