About The Position

E&R is hiring a dedicated, friendly, and motivated Forklift Operator to help transfer vehicles in and out of impound and perform tasks involved in maintaining the yard. The role reports to the Terminal Manager. The position includes safely handling vehicles, supporting vehicle inventory and auction staging, assisting customers retrieving impounded vehicles, and maintaining an organized yard. Forklift experience is preferred, and candidates must provide current certification. Applicants must pass a drug test and background check.

Responsibilities

• Safely pick up, store, and load vehicles, and place non-drivable vehicles in the lot using a front-end loader.
• Work with management to inventory vehicles.
• Move vehicles to inventory staging for auction.
• Check customers’ receipts and assist them in retrieving vehicles from impound.
• Keep the yard clear of debris and organized.
• Ensure cars are wrapped and marked.
• Perform other tasks as requested by management.
