Maschmeyer Concrete of Florida is currently seeking a highly motivated, dependable Forklift Operator to join our team at our Concrete Block Production Plants in major cities throughout Florida. Requirements
- 1 year of experience operating a forklift
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Monday – Saturday availability
Nice To Haves
- Experience operating a truck-mounted forklift (ex. Moffet)
Responsibilities
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Communicate any needed repairs, safety issues, or concerns to the management team
- Maintain a clean and safe forklift by Perform scheduled preventive maintenance
- Safely operate a forklift to efficiently transport concrete blocks around the plant
- Ability to read tickets and pull orders with detailed accuracy
- Properly load and unload concrete block from flatbed trucks and conveyer lines
- Assist with daily housekeeping duties to maintain a safe environment free of debris
