About The Position

This is a part-time Forklift Operator position for the AM shift in Richmond. The role involves operating a forklift, performing order pulling and entry using the SAP computer program. The normal schedule is 6 am to 2:30 pm, approximately 3 shifts per week. The job requires setting up, manually loading, unloading, or warehousing product or supplies with an electric pallet jack, and maintaining accurate counts of product and supplies through handheld computer data entry (SAP). The operator will also be responsible for keeping work areas neat and clean, assisting with clerical duties, and performing other tasks as assigned by supervision. Repetitive loading and unloading of product or ingredients weighing up to 30-50 pounds is expected. Compliance with all safety and quality good manufacturing practices guidelines is mandatory.

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED
1-year forklift experience in a manufacturing warehouse environment required.

Nice To Haves

Shipping or warehousing experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

Perform shipping order pulling duties and line driver duties on occasion.
Set up, manually load, unload, or warehouse product or supplies with an electric pallet jack.
Responsible for load count, production manifest counts or inventories of both product and supplies using handheld computer data entry (SAP).
Keep work areas neat, clean, and orderly.
Assist with clerical duties or any other tasks as assigned by supervision.
Repetitious loading and unloading of product or ingredients weighing up to 30-50 pounds.
Use of SAP computer programs for inventory and shipping.
Comply with all safety and quality good manufacturing practices guidelines.
