About The Position

IPEX is seeking a reliable and motivated Forklift Operator to join its growing team at the Distribution Centre in Jacksonville. The role involves quickly and accurately servicing a fast-paced client base while maintaining high standards of quality and safety. The operator uses forklift and RF scanning equipment to handle, locate, pick, stage, and replenish product, and contributes to warehouse productivity, quality, and safety goals. The position involves physical activity, extended periods on one’s feet, and work outdoors in varying conditions.

Requirements

High-school diploma.
Ability to safely operate a reach forklift and various forklift equipment.
Ability to meet daily timelines in an environment where assignments and work priorities may be reviewed several times a day.
Ability to use RF technology.
Ability to read and write in English.
Ability to work well as part of a team while also being self-motivated and independent when needed.
Good interpersonal skills.
Ability to repeatedly lift 50 or more pounds.
Ability to perform ongoing physical activities and remain on one’s feet for long periods.
Willingness to work outdoors in varying conditions.
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, changing environment.

Previous experience working in a warehouse.

Responsibilities

Operate forklift equipment effectively and safely, maintain equipment, and report malfunctions.
Perform duties within established RF processes.
Accurately pick, stack, wrap, and stage outbound freight to meet warehouse goals.
Follow the prescribed work sequence to meet delivery dates.
Meet productivity, quality, and safety targets.
Load and unload trucks.
Maintain housekeeping standards in accordance with 5S protocols.
Report unsafe work conditions or environments promptly.
Contribute to the success of the team.
Perform cycle counts and stock replenishment.
Receive and locate product using RF technology.
