Grede is seeking a Forklift Driver to join their team. This role is responsible for driving a forklift, bringing cores to machines, and supporting daily production activities. They have multiple openings on 2nd and 3rd shifts across various departments. Requirements

• Previous Forklift Experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Operate power fork truck to transport materials, distribute and organize castings, patterns, cores, etc. in assigned areas, as necessary.
• Examine gauges as appropriate to make sure truck is operating properly.
• Report any truck problems to supervisor.
• Perform daily fork truck condition audit by completing the daily fork truck check sheets and forward them to supervisor.
• Ensure that the product is being packed into proper shipping containers.
• Complete inventory tickets and routing forms as required.
• Itemize data and input into inventory database, as necessary.
• Utilize delay time constructively by doing housekeeping or other area improvement activities.
