About The Position

Admiral Beverage is seeking a Forklift Operator to drive gasoline, liquefied gas, or electric-powered industrial trucks equipped with lifting devices to move products, equipment, or materials. This role involves operating levers and pedals to control the truck and lifting apparatus, positioning forks to load and unload materials, and maintaining inventory. The operator will also be responsible for recording material movements, lubricating the truck, recharging batteries, and ensuring compliance with safety and sanitation standards by wearing company-provided uniforms and safety devices. Requirements

Operate industrial trucks equipped with lifting devices.
Ability to move levers and press pedals to drive truck and control lifting apparatus.
Ability to position forks, lifting platform, or other lifting device under, over, or around loaded materials.
Ability to load or unload materials.
Ability to inventory materials and supply workers.
Ability to record materials loaded and unloaded.
Ability to lubricate truck, recharge batteries, or replace liquefied gas tank.
Must wear company-provided uniform and required sanitation and safety devices.

Responsibilities

Drives gasoline, liquefied gas, or electric powered industrial truck equipped with lifting devices such as forklift, boom, scoop, lift beam and swivel hook, fork grapple, clamps, elevating platform, or trailer hitch, to push, pull, lift, stack, tier, or move products, equipment, or materials.
Moves levers and presses pedals to drive truck and control movement of lifting apparatus.
Positions forks, lifting platform, or other lifting device under, over, or around loaded pallets, skids, boxes, products, or materials or hooks tow trucks to trailer hitch, and transports load to designated area.
Unloads and stacks material by raising and lowering lifting device.
Inventories materials on work floor/production line, and supply workers with materials as needed.
Loads or unloads materials in accordance with load sheets or other appropriate directives.
Records materials loaded and unloaded in accordance with established procedure.
Loads or unloads materials onto or off pallets, skids, or lifting device.
Lubricates truck, recharges batteries, or replaces liquefied gas tank.
Wears Company provided uniform and required sanitation and safety devices as appropriate to comply with safety and sanitation standards for beverage production operations.
Other duties may be assigned by the immediate supervisor or other supervisor at any time.
