Forklift Operator
About The Position
Temp Mclean and Woodford Counties Operate forklift to stage, store, load, and unload materials required for Production. Report Food Safety, Quality and Occupational Safety concerns area leads and to shift lead. Maintain Kanban system to validate quantities on hand and ensure timely replenishment aligned with the production schedule Maintain the warehouse and freezer in a clean and free of obstacles condition. Closely understand and adhere to all Shipping & Receiving procedures including, but not limited to, allergen separation, product identification, and cleaning and sanitation. Assist Warehouse Manager with physical inventory counts Break down pallets as necessary. Perform sanitation duties as needed. Perform Master Cleaning Schedule duties as neededMake process improvement suggestions. Properly dispose of waste material and used packaging supplies. Record quality data such as weights, lot numbers, temperature checks, etc. and directed by the Warehouse Manager or Quality Department Assist other employees as needed to complete tasks.
