About The Position

Litehouse Foods is seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Material Handler II to work at its food manufacturing facility in Hurricane, Utah. The role operates powered industrial trucks to move and handle materials, fulfills customer orders, receives vendor shipments, and maintains accurate inventory records. The position works the second shift, 2:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., in a cool, refrigerated environment. Starting pay is $19.97 per hour, with an additional $1.50 per hour for second shift. Overtime and weekend work may be required. Litehouse is a 100% employee-owned company and describes its work as grounded in ownership, teamwork, and community.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED is strongly preferred.
Forklift experience is preferred; the company will provide certification if needed.
Ability to work in a cool, refrigerated environment.
Strong attention to detail and self-motivation, with the ability to work independently.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
Must pass a background check.

Responsibilities

Operate powered industrial trucks, including forklifts and pallet jacks, to move, load, unload, and stack materials.
Pick and stack customer orders and accurately and safely receive vendor shipments.
Maintain precise inventory records using handheld scanners and internal systems.
Follow proper stacking patterns and pallet configurations to meet quality and safety standards.
Keep workspaces clean and organized through regular housekeeping duties.
Follow Food Safety and Quality policies at all times.
Work overtime and weekends as required.
