About The Position

DHL Supply Chain is hiring a Forklift Operator to move stock within a warehouse environment. The role combines equipment operation with material handling and loading/unloading duties; equipment operation may account for 30–90% of the work depending on production peaks. Operators load and unload shipments of various sizes and may use stand-up, sit-down, or clamp forklifts and electric pallet jacks. The work environment is team-oriented, fast-paced, and safety-focused. The schedule is Sunday through Thursday, 3 p.m. to 11 p.m. Pay is $18.10 per hour plus a $1 shift differential.

Requirements

At least six months of experience operating stand-up material handling equipment is required.
Safely and efficiently operate a stand-up Dock Stocker and Reach Truck.
Forklift operator certification or satisfactory completion of a forklift-training program within the first 30 days of employment.
Six months of forklift operation experience.
High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
Six months of warehouse experience is preferred.

Nice To Haves

Experience operating an Order (Cherry) Picker, sit-down forklift, clamp forklift, or electric pallet jack.

Responsibilities

Load, unload, move, stock, and stage products and materials using forklifts or other powered equipment.
Pull and prepare products for shipment, ensuring the correct number and types of products are loaded.
Maintain records and reports to support inventory accuracy.
Comply with OSHA and MSDS standards.
Verify load accuracy, including count, stability, and product condition, and report variances.
Change equipment batteries or LP tanks and monitor power sources as needed.
Keep facility equipment and materials neat, clean, and orderly.
Assist with physical inventories.
Complete daily equipment inspections.
Perform other duties as assigned.
