About The Position

The Forklift Operator is a key player playing a vital part in the loading, unloading and movement of inventory utilizing fork-lift/pallet jack machinery, optimizing loads to ensure operational efficiency and support the production requirements for assigned location. This role involves operating and managing technical equipment like the Forklift/Pallet Jack, loading, unloading, shipping, and receiving warehouse gear, and transporting materials to different locations within the facility. The operator is responsible for securing loads to the Forklift machine before transporting and identifying workplace safety hazards while adhering to safety management standards. Responsibilities also include pulling or placing cartons on racks.

Requirements

• Ability to operate and manage technical equipment like the Forklift/Pallet Jack.
• Ability to stand for 8-10 hours depending on the daily work volume.
• Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds or more, reaching & bending when offloading and separating shipments.
• The ability to work in a warehouse fast-paced environment, with a winning set of communication skills.

Nice To Haves

• Familiarity with Professional Sports Leagues and Teams is a plus.
• Average knowledge in reading and understanding bar codes on boxes utilizing RF scanning equipment (preferred).
• Previous experience working in a warehouse manufacturing environment (preferred).
