About The Position
Sazerac Company is seeking a Warehouse Technician for its JVL facility in Jeffersonville, IN. This role involves operating a sit-down forklift for 90% of the day, along with other warehouse tasks. The company is an independent, American family-owned business with a rich history and a commitment to growth and employee development. Requirements
- High School diploma or GED equivalent.
- Ability to work various shifts
- Ability to communicate with all levels of an organization
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks at one time
- Operate industrial equipment
- Pickup and/or move objects up to 50 pounds without assistance
- Good vision and manual dexterity.
- Two years of relevant experience (minimum).
Nice To Haves
- At least one year of continuous experience in every previous job.
- Two years previous experience in manufacturing or warehouse environment.
Responsibilities
- Order picking and truck loading process
- Warehouse inventory-robot operation and forklift operation
- Confirming counts from production to warehouse
- Quality control of all outgoing product and setting up orders of incoming stock
- Care and maintenance of property assigned to his/her use and works together with staff to support the goals of Company
- Operate wrappers
- Use RF Scanners
- Apply pallet tags
- Open/close trailer doors
