Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join our logistics team. This full-time role is integral to ensuring efficient material handling and inventory management within our warehouse operations.

Requirements

  • Proven experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or distribution center environment, demonstrating safe and efficient handling of materials.
  • Solid understanding of warehouse safety protocols and operational standards.
  • Ability to read and interpret order sheets, product labels, and inventory data accurately.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining accurate records.
  • Effective communication skills to coordinate with team members and management.
  • Capability to work in a fast-paced environment, adapting to changing priorities and schedules.
  • Knowledge of warehouse management software or inventory control systems is advantageous.

Nice To Haves

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Certification or licensing for forklift operation is often required depending on local regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise.
  • Load and unload materials from delivery vehicles while ensuring proper placement and securing of goods.
  • Process orders accurately and maintain detailed records of inventory movements and stock levels using warehouse management systems.
  • Conduct routine inspections and maintenance checks on forklifts to ensure operational safety and report any mechanical issues promptly.
  • Collaborate effectively with warehouse team members and supervisors to optimize workflow and meet daily processing targets.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to all safety policies and procedures to minimize accidents and injuries.
  • Assist in inventory audits and support stock replenishment activities as required.
