About The Position

DHL Supply Chain is hiring a Forklift Operator to move stock within a warehouse environment and load and unload shipments of various sizes. Operators may use stand-up, sit-down, or clamp forklifts and electric pallet jacks. The work environment is team-oriented, fast-paced, and safety-focused. Equipment is used for approximately 80% of the specified shift. Initial training is provided on first shift for 4–6 weeks.

Requirements

• Forklift operator certificate or satisfactory completion of a forklift-training program within the first 30 days of employment.
• Six months of forklift operation experience.
• Ability to pick up and handle up to 50 pounds.
• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Six months of warehouse experience is preferred.

Nice To Haves

• Warehouse Management System experience.
• Material handling experience operating stand-up and sit-down forklifts.
• Ability to use forklift attachments such as clamps, slips, and forks.
• Cold storage experience.

Responsibilities

• Load, unload, move, stock, and stage products and materials using forklifts or other powered equipment.
• Pull and prepare products for shipment, ensuring the correct number and types of products are loaded.
• Maintain appropriate records and reports to support inventory accuracy.
• Comply with OSHA and MSDS standards.
• Verify load accuracy, including load count, stability, and product condition, and report variances as needed.
• Change equipment batteries or LP tanks and monitor power sources as needed.
• Keep facility equipment and materials neat, clean, and orderly.
• Assist with physical inventories.
• Complete daily equipment inspections.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
