About The Position
These positions are responsible for ensuring all materials are transported and/or unloaded in a timely manner while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures. These positions could work in any department of this meat processing facility include Shipping, Receiving, or Production. Proficiency in reading and writing; ability to complete on-the-job paperwork and effectively communicate across all management levels.
Requirements
- 3 months experience listed on application (can be with multiple employers but must add up to 3 months)
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs
- Willingness to stand, walk, bend, squat, stretch, climb, push, pull and reach as required in all areas
- Willingness to stand 8-10 hours on hard floors
- Willingness to perform repetitive motions as required in many areas
- Willingness to work in a cold environment in the mid 30 degrees Fahrenheit
- Willingness to work in a damp environment
- Willingness to work on slippery walking surfaces
Nice To Haves
- 3 months of Forklift Experience
- Experience in a manufacturing setting
