About The Position

DHL Supply Chain is hiring a Forklift Operator to move stock within a warehouse environment. The role involves loading and unloading shipments and may use stand-up, sit-down, or clamp forklifts and electric pallet jacks. The work environment is team-oriented, fast-paced, and safety-focused.

The position is first shift, Monday through Friday, from 6:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., with pay of $20.00 per hour. The operator will load and unload pallets and put pallets away.

Requirements

• Six months of forklift operation experience.
• Forklift operator certificate or satisfactory completion of a forklift-training program within the first 30 days of employment.
• Minimum of six months of experience operating sit-down and reach forklifts.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Six months of warehouse experience.
• Minimum of six months of experience with an RF scanner.

Responsibilities

• Load, unload, move, stock, and stage products and materials using forklifts or other powered equipment for 80% of the specified shift.
• Pull and prepare products for shipment, ensuring the exact number and types of products are loaded.
• Maintain appropriate inventory accuracy records and reports.
• Comply with OSHA and MSDS standards.
• Verify load accuracy, count, stability, and product condition; report variances as needed.
• Change equipment batteries or LP tanks and monitor power sources as needed.
• Keep facility equipment and materials neat, clean, and orderly.
• Assist with physical inventories.
• Complete daily equipment inspections.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Load and unload pallets and put pallets away.
