About The Position
Penguin Random House is seeking skilled Forklift Operators for its state-of-the-art national fulfillment center in Crawfordsville, Indiana. This full-time position operates on the 2nd shift, Monday through Friday, from 3:00 pm to 11:00 pm. The role involves the movement of stock throughout the warehouse using various stand-up powered industrial equipment to meet customer demands for picking, packing, and shipping approximately 1.2 million books daily.
Requirements
- Skilled Forklift Operator.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to maintain a good overall safety and attendance record.
- Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
- Must adhere to all established safety and precaution measures.
- Must be flexible and cross-trained in other areas to assist with work in other departments based on business needs.
Responsibilities
- Handling full carton stock to fill customer orders or replenish inventory.
- Moving full pallet inventory to and from specified areas.
- Processing information provided in your application.
