About The Position

Admiral Beverage is seeking a Forklift Operator for the Ogden, Utah area. This position is responsible for the safe operation of equipment, understanding company safety procedures, and ensuring the accuracy of inventory count of product and materials. The company produces and distributes a wide range of beverages, including soft drinks, waters, teas, fruit juices, energy drinks, and alcoholic beverages. Admiral Beverage aims to be a strategic business partner as the Employer, Supplier, and Customer of Choice within the communities and markets it serves. The company operates across the Mountain-West states, including Alaska, with multiple production facilities, transportation hubs, and distribution centers.

Requirements

Must be able to lift 60 pounds.
Must have an understanding of company safety procedures.

Responsibilities

Drives a liquefied gas, gasoline, or electric powered forklift to load and unload material for delivery and production.
Ensures the safe operation of equipment and understanding of company safety procedures.
Ensures accuracy of inventory count of product and materials.
Moves levers and presses pedals to drive truck and control movement of lifting apparatus.
Positions forks, lifting platform, or other lifting device under, over, or around loaded pallets, skids, boxes, products, or materials or hooks tow trucks to trailer hitch, and transports load to designated area.
Unloads and stacks material by raising and lowering lifting device.
Inventories materials on work floor/production line, and supply workers with materials as needed.
Loads or unloads materials in accordance with load sheets or other appropriate directives.
Records materials loaded and unloaded in accordance with established procedure.
Loads or unloads materials onto or off of pallets, skids, or lifting device.
Lubricates truck, recharges batteries, or replaces liquefied gas tank.
Wears Company provided uniform and required sanitation and safety devices as appropriate to comply with safety and sanitation standards for beverage production operations.
Performs other duties as assigned by the immediate supervisor or other supervisor.
